Are you interested in how (or whether) virtual reality might be used at Duke for teaching and learning? Have you tried the Oculus Rift? Google Cardboard? Samsung Gear VR? This is the first of what we hope will be an ongoing series of informal lunches to talk about teaching and learning with VR. Bring questions, concerns, ideas, favorite educational VR apps to share with a like-minded community. No registration or RSVP is necessary. (You're responsible for your own meal.) Look for a sign on a table that says "Virtual Reality in Teaching and Learning" to know where to sit. Order when you get there, and remember that you can bring your own cup to save using plastic or paper! This lunch is part of the Duke Digital Initiative (DD).
