Innovation in Medicine (iMED) Kick-Off Event

iMED (innovative MEDicine), the student group of MEDx (Medicine+Engineering at Duke) which brings together students and faculty from all the Duke graduate schools, will hold a virtual kickoff event on Zoom at 7 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 4. All Duke graduate students are invited.

iMED's mission is to provide a safe, collaborative environment where people with unique expertise from their respective graduate schools can share, mentor, and learn from one another about entrepreneurship and engineering to tackle domestic and global health care problems.

Event speakers will be Daniel Buckland, assistant professor of Surgery and of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science; and Ken Gall, professor of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science and Associate Dean for Entrepreneurship in Duke's Pratt School of Engineering.
