If so, be sure to attend one of the upcoming information sessions about the Career Center's Internship Funding Program. During these sessions, information on the application process, qualification requirements and award timeline will be shared. Sessions are open to first-year - junior level undergraduate students.

Data Carpentry for Genomics

Data Carpentry develops and teaches workshops on the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. Its target audience is researchers who have little to no prior computational experience, and its lessons are domain specific, building on learners' existing knowledge to enable them to quickly apply skills learned to their own research. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.

RCR credits are available for faculty and staff.

DiversifyIT | Women in Tech Series

DiversifyIT invites you to participate in a three-part series to learn how we can:
- Bring awareness to skills and experiences of women in tech
- Create respectful and authentic places for women to thrive in tech environments
- Facilitate the inclusion (and belonging) practices of women in the workplace
- Learn language and intercultural awareness habits that builds one's capacity to value women in tech and in society

Fannie Mitchell Expert in Residence - Angela Silak from Hollywood Resumes

Angela is the Co-Founder of Hollywood Resumes, a resume writing and career services business that caters directly to entertainment industry professionals. Since launching the company in 2016, she has helped hundreds of Hollywood job seekers craft their job application materials and take the next step in their careers. In addition to managing Hollywood Resumes, she now works as a freelance TV & film development consultant. Angela will be speaking about entry-level Hollywood: how to get and succeed in your first entertainment industry job or internship.

OIT Training - Making Informed Decisions with Qualtrics

In addition to routine surveys and forms, there are a lot of tools Qualtrics offers to allow you to fine-tune the way you reach out to respondents, collaborate with colleagues, and collect data. And once you've collected them, it offers several different ways to access and use the responses you receive. This session will introduce some of the tools Qualtrics offers and examine ways to figure out what the data you've collected can tell you and how to share and report it. Learn IT @ Lunch is an opportunity to learn about technology in a relaxed lunch environment.
