Get ready, superheroes! Registration for TechExpo 2016 starts next week

Start your Superhero Car engines (or do you just fly from intervention to intervention?)!

When you register, you’ll be asked to review a list of the proposed conference sessions and give us your best guess as to which ones you’ll attend.

Your feedback isn’t binding. We’re not, like, supervillains who will kidnap you and tie you to a chair in the session you told us you were going to see. (No one is that cruel.) But your responses will give us a good idea of how to schedule the sessions and how big a room each will need, so please play along.

If you submitted a presentation, panel discussion, lab, poster or Birds of a Feather session for consideration, you should be hearing from a member of the Program Committee soon. If you have questions, write to techexpoprogram@duke.edu.

Oh, and we’re going to start saying this now, and we’ll keep repeating it until you get it: Parking will be tight at the Washington Duke Inn this year. If you do fly, or if you have a Superhero Copter you can land on the roof, you’ll be good. But if you drive, take us up on one of the alternative ways to get to the conference that we’ll tell you about over the next few weeks.

Stay safe out there.
